Earlier, the bid document was sent to the Niti Aayog and the ministry of finance. In fact, the bid document for the Jewar Airport has also been made and approved by the civil aviation ministry on May 6th. Once, it is cleared by the PMIC, the global tenders would be issued and within six months of the tender issuance, agency for Jewar Airport construction would be finalised. Now, these things would be tabled into the Project Monitoring and Implementation committee (PMCI).
In fact, the tender document has also been approved subject to some terms and condition. The government of India has finally cleared the road map that would be implemented to construct the international airport in Greater Noida. (2) The Authority may act as the slots coordinator for a coordinated airport, or as the schedules facilitator for a schedules facilitated airport, if no such person is appointed for that airport under subsection (1).
